BLOOD AND TEARS IN THE ARABIAN DESERT

The Arabian Desert has become a slaughter-house for a lot of Nepalese workers. Hundreds of Nepalese have died. The family members have to wait for days and days for the bodies of their beloved, to be flown home. Dozens of Nepalese women have committed suicide. They have been abused and have returned home pregnant.  Lately, one Nepali girl was killed and buried in the desert.  Yet, the trend of going of the GULF HAS NOT STOPPED.  Today’s blog carries my article published in the ‘Integrated Journal of Asian and Middle-Eastern Studies.’
